Staring in engine fuel mixture control adjustment range 1, higher limit not reached causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system fuel mixture control adjustment range 3, higher limit not reached and bank 2, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g301), short-circuit to mass is the final reason of the code. |
12909 Possible Causes:
12909 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12909 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g301), interruption / short-circuit to pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
