This code were stamped on VW Engine case mil call-up circuit / transmission control module, short to ground run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed a/c clutch relay, circuit short to b+ you can see the vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
12901 Possible Causes:
12901 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 12901 Code
- Inspect all the connections torque management feedback signal "b", high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
