The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault data-bus powertrain, missing message from engine controller (ecu) run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit intermittent / erratic also automatic glow time control module 2 (j609), circuit implausible signal is the final reason of the code. |
12900 Possible Causes:
12900 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 12900 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, signal too slowly
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
