129 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine fuel rail sensor (g401), short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor accelerator position sensor 2 (g185), signal too high and engine coolant temperature signal, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
129 Possible Causes:
129 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 129 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'b' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
