Diagnosing engine bar with nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start shift lock, short to b+ . On the other hand relays for small amount of heat (j359), short-circuit after pluses is the final reason of the code. |
12896 Possible Causes:
12896 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 12896 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant temperature sensor, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
