The problem is about pressure control solenoid 1 (n215), short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start turbocharger control module 2, implausible message and wait then linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
12892 Possible Causes:
12892 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 12892 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
