12891 Description And Summary : |

When you open secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start hydraulic pressure sensor 1, too low or a/c clutch relay, circuit short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
12891 Possible Causes:
12891 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 12891 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
