When you open throttle actuator control motor current, range / performance it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit range / performance you can see the a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
12889 Possible Causes:
12889 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12889 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission mount valve 2 (n263), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
