Staring in engine starter does not run, mechanically blocked or mechanical malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor water in fuel sensor, circuit intermittent and pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
12886 Possible Causes:
12886 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 12886 Code
- Inspect all the connections data-bus powertrain, missing message from level control module (j197)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
