12883 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault engine coolant temperature signal, range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system cooling bypass valve 2, exhaust gas recirculation flow, electrical and charging system, voltage high is the final reason of the code.

12883 Possible Causes:

12883 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
  • Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
  • Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
  • Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 12883 Code

  • Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), open circuit
