The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault please check dtc memory of adr control module the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit low or nox sensor bank 1, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
12880 Possible Causes:
12880 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 12880 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
