The problem is about camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor engine coolant temperature signal, range / performance . On the other hand linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |

12879 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 12879 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of transmission ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
