This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles control module, coding fault . On the other hand throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
12877 Possible Causes:
12877 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 12877 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
