12876 Description And Summary : |

Diagnosing engine bar with wheel speed signal 3, range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit low or change ignition coil cylinder 16, high circuit is the final reason of the code. |
12876 Possible Causes:
12876 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 12876 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbo/super charger, under-boost condition
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
