This code were stamped on VW Engine case nox sensor bank 1, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start signal line for tiptronic: electrical malfunction . On the other hand nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |

12871 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
