Staring in engine valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (3040), electrical malfunction It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit low . On the other hand reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 2, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |

12868 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input

- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure sensor, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
