Diameter in engine air flow restriction / air leak between air filter and maf causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system turbocharger speed sensor, circuit intermittent or change accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low is the final reason of the code. |
12864 Possible Causes:
12864 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 12864 Code
- Inspect all the connections data-bus powertrain, software version controller
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
