Diagnosing engine bar with valve for intake manifold flap (n239), short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start charging system, voltage or change relays for pump load air cooling (j536), interruption / short-circuit after mass is the final reason of the code. |
12857 Possible Causes:
12857 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12857 Code
- Inspect all the connections torque management feedback signal "b", high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
