Accumulated in electronic control units so reversing light, circuit open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), open / short to ground and data bus powertrain, missing message for central electric controller is the final reason of the code. |

12853 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Inspect all the connections barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
