Staring in engine turbocharger speed sensor, circuit range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system load signal from alternator terminal df, short to ground or change control module defective is the final reason of the code. |
12851 Possible Causes:
12851 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12851 Code
- Inspect all the connections torque management request input signal b, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
