12850 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine reset-resistant limp-mode active causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system generator shut-off, open or short to ground or change engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
12850 Possible Causes:
12850 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 12850 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
