This something to do with the intake camshaft timing wheel speed signal 3, range / performance the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit range / performance you can see the linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
12847 Possible Causes:
12847 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 12847 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
