Diameter in engine o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ignition coil 'l' primary control, short to plus or change control of valves pump / nozzle, mechanical errors is the final reason of the code. |
12838 Possible Causes:
12838 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12838 Code
- Inspect all the connections camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
