This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck closed It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake intake manifold runner control, circuit low bank 2 and a/c clutch relay, circuit short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
12837 Possible Causes:
12837 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 12837 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 2 (n367), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
