Staring in engine 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start idle speed control throttle position 2, electrical malfunction . So for next injector cylinder 16 (n393), circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
12836 Possible Causes:
12836 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses

- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 12836 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
