This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake relays for small amount of heat (j359), short-circuit after pluses also intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck open is the final reason of the code. |
12824 Possible Causes:
12824 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12824 Code
- Inspect all the connections direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
