Staring in engine secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit electrical malfunction or change valve for pump - jet, cylinder 1 (n240), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |

12821 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12821 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle position (tp) sensor (g79), error message from ecm
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
