The problem is about accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) + (g185), implausible signal causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit intermittent also accelerator position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low is the final reason of the code. |
12820 Possible Causes:
12820 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 12820 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, default not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
