This something to do with the intake camshaft timing turbocharger speed sensor, circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust bank 4 main catalyst, effectiveness too low or ignition coil 'g' primary control, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
12810 Possible Causes:
12810 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 12810 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
