The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit also secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
12808 Possible Causes:
12808 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 12808 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, circuit / open bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
