12799 Possible Causes:
12799 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12799 Code
- Inspect all the connections power supply (b+) terminal 15, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
