This something to do with the intake camshaft timing o2 sensor signals swapped bank 1 sensor 2 / bank 1 sensor 3 It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake please check dtc memory of central electric control ecu or change engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit will delay your vw fault. |
12799 Possible Causes:
12799 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 12799 Code
- Inspect all the connections air cleaner inlet control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
