Diagnosing engine bar with vehicle speed signal, circuit short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake please check dtc memory of adr control module or change relays for electrical fuel pump 2 (j49), interruption/short-circuit after mass will delay your vw fault. |
12796 Possible Causes:
12796 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12796 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
