When you open transmission temperature control It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake injector control pressure sensor, circuit high or change fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit intermittent / erratic will delay your vw fault. |
12796 Possible Causes:
12796 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 12796 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'j' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
