This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), high temperature retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start injection pump, timing calibration not learned or fuel injection valve 3 (n368), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
12784 Possible Causes:
12784 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12784 Code
- Inspect all the connections motor for intake manifold flap (v157), malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
