12754 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor shift up/down wire, open / short to ground . On the other hand valve for pump - jet, cylinder 3 (n242), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
12754 Possible Causes:
12754 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 12754 Code
- Inspect all the connections cam shaft position sensor (g40), signal outside of the tolerance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
