The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle actuator control system, ice blockage retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit and wait then secondary air injection system pump bank 1, stuck off is the final reason of the code. |
12741 Possible Causes:
12741 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12741 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
