12729 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed crankshaft position signal output, circuit high or change bank 1 sensor 1, internal resistance too high is the final reason of the code. |
12729 Possible Causes:
12729 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 12729 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
