This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ecm/pcm power input, signal range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor activation starter relay 2, open circuit . On the other hand shift up/down wire, short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |

12728 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections gear/ratio monitoring adaptation, limit reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
