This something to do with the intake camshaft timing hydraulic pressure sensor 2 adaptation at limit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more power supply (b+) terminal 15, open circuit . On the other hand control of valves pump / nozzle, mechanical errors is the final reason of the code. |
12728 Possible Causes:
12728 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 12728 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbo/super charger over-boost condition
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
