The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', minimum stop performance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake injector cylinder 14 (n391), circuit high or ignition switch run/start position, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
12720 Possible Causes:
12720 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 12720 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 15 (n392), circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
