The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor secondary air injection system bank 2, high air flow and wait then power supply, voltage high voltage is the final reason of the code. |

12717 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 12717 Code
- Inspect all the connections power supply (b+) terminal 15, low voltage
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
