When you open throttle/pedal position sensor 'd', minimum stop performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system glow plug/heater relay 2 circuit, short to b+ also water in fuel sensor, circuit intermittent will delay your vw fault. |

12713 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 12713 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
