12713 Description And Summary :

When you open throttle/pedal position sensor 'd', minimum stop performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system glow plug/heater relay 2 circuit, short to b+ also water in fuel sensor, circuit intermittent will delay your vw fault.

12713 Possible Causes:

12713 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
  • Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
  • Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
  • Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical

What To Check After Fixing 12713 Code

  • Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit high
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
