The problem is about barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit intermittent / erratic It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust gas temperature bank 1, too high also cylinder 7 above knock threshold is the final reason of the code. |
12712 Possible Causes:
12712 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 12712 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s3, signal shorted to heater circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
