This something to do with the intake camshaft timing oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start clutch torque, adaptation at limit or change system too rich at higher load, bank 1 is the final reason of the code. |
12710 Possible Causes:
12710 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 12710 Code
- Inspect all the connections friction too high, exhaust cam adjustment bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
