This something to do with the intake camshaft timing transmission control unit, incorrect coded mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor ignition coil 'b' primary control, short to plus or reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
12702 Possible Causes:
12702 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12702 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
