Accumulated in electronic control units so please check dtc memory of instrument panel ecu the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles injector control pressure sensor, circuit and cylinder 5 above knock threshold will delay your vw fault. |
12700 Possible Causes:
12700 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 12700 Code
- Inspect all the connections immobilizer query not yet performed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
