Staring in engine ignition switch run/start position, circuit low to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich or exhaust bank 3/4 lambda probes after kat exchanges is the final reason of the code. |
12700 Possible Causes:
12700 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 12700 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
