The problem is about o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too high and wait then air leak between throttle body and intake valves is the final reason of the code. |
12699 Possible Causes:
12699 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent

- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
