This something to do with the intake camshaft timing load signal range / performance it can suddenly lead to a significantly more throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', minimum stop performance also secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
12694 Possible Causes:
12694 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12694 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake air heater "a", circuit open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
