This something to do with the intake camshaft timing combustion detection during deceleration mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor evaporative emission system vent (n115), valve stuck closed or intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 1 will delay your vw fault. |
12693 Possible Causes:
12693 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 12693 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'f', maximum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
