12690 Possible Causes:
12690 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Reverse Input Circuit
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12690 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'e' secondary circuit, malfunction
