Diagnosing engine bar with engine torque reduction, fault to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so engine coolant temperature signal, short to ground or exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 3, out of range is the final reason of the code. |
12673 Possible Causes:
12673 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 12673 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
