This something to do with the intake camshaft timing cylinder 8 injector, data incompatible retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel rail sensor (g401), open circuit or change nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
12664 Possible Causes:
12664 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12664 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
