Diagnosing engine bar with 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), electrical . On the other hand 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |

12664 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 12664 Code
- Inspect all the connections boost pressure control valve (n249), mechanical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
